Your site in Konqueror, too!

Remember iCapture? In case you don’t, read this.

Now it seems there’s also another neat little free service called Kcapture.

And I just noticed that IE isn’t the only browser that doesn’t listen to you when you tell it you want a dotted border (and NOT a dashed border you stupid piece of crap).

You need to have a border-size of at least 2px for dotted to show up.

Hey Phil!

Did you mean that for IE or for Konqueror? Or both perhaps?

Konqueror 3.1.3 (the latest I have), always displays dotted as dashed.

In IE, the border size needs to be above 2px to be able to tell that it’s actually dotted, otherwise it looks dashed (it’s definitely different at 2px, but doesn’t really look like dots until 3px or more).

In quite a large coincidence (or a small one if we both found the link at the same place), I also wrote about on my blog about kCapture today, but my FTP server’s down so it hasn’t actually appeared, how annoying. Amazing tool though.

Thanks for the info.

Still, nobody really wants dots those sizes. And dotted means dotted, at whatever size. Heh.

And I spotted this off the Web Standards Project BUZZ.

I saw it somewhere else completely. Can’t imagine where though.

Incidentally, Simon Willison may have a slight shock coming when he tries to view his site in kCapture. :)

Heh I just checked it out too. Not sure if it’s Konqueror or his site though. The difference between Safari’s modified KHTML and Konqueror’s shows.
