World of Warcraft servers are down for maintenance today, so I get time to blog a little and read forum posts. Check out this Rogue video – Killing the Ironforge bankers thread (and the video of course). It’s cool being a rogue.

So without sound like a serious WoW n00b — this is obviously bad? But for what reasons? :D
(I played the beta for a week back in Oct/Nov, and can’t bring myself to purchase the game for fear of never returning to work)

It’s not really that bad I guess, but it does mean that Alliance players on that server don’t get to access the bank for awhile until the bankers respawn. It’s the coolness of sneaking into the opposite faction’s core cities, assassinating some NPCs, and getting out alive that’s cool (in a roguish way).
And buy the game Ben! Half Life 2? Bah I say. This is the game to get.

Ahhh I get it now. That is rather fiendish, I must admit. >8)
As for getting a copy, I would -love- to, but with all these games going subscription, I can’t justify the costs. My job/life is just waaay too complicated right now. -Zero- ‘fun’ time these days to game, plus hellaciously long hours. By the time I get home I’m wiped, and mentally pooped. I’ll have to live vicariously through your WoW adventures it seems!! :)

Hi Chu Yeow, I’m from singapore as well and currently i’m having problems finding an online site from which to purchase WoW. I’m terribly intrigued by this game and to my dismay, all the shops in SLS arent selling it. How much would it cost in Singapore Dollars if i purchase it from the net, and could u please point me to a site which ships to Singapore? Thanks! BTW can we use a debit card to pay for its monthly fees? lolz..

Sif Thunder Bluff! You’d fall off the cliffs! There are no auctioneers there, btw. :) The Horde AH is in Orgrimmar. :)

Actually, I have two packages of World of Warcraft that I have received for free in a promotion booth in Korea.
But I don’t think I am going to play it. I don’t wanna get addicted. :)

I’d been hearing about this game from all sorts of different sources. So, i finally did some online research of game-reviews and decided to grab a copy yesterday at the local store (1300 GMT-5). I’ve been up, awake, and playing the game ever since (0500 GTM-5).
Multi-player RPG’s have finaly come of age and gone mainstream. It’s a very nice era in which to be alive.
