If you don't mind my asking, how did you manage to get it to work on a limited user account (I am assuming you are running a Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 series OS).

It only seems to want to work on the Admin Account on my PC and I really don't want to uninstall and install under my profile (bypassing the "Program Files" Folder).

there have been similar apps on windows for a very long time:
desktopx (payware and not really good, but it's 4 years old, based on the great vde)
kapsules (free, newer and better, needs .net framework, kapsules.shellscape.org)
avedesk (free, havent tried it yet)
dotwidget (free and opensource, made in vb6 by k23productions.com, but works too good to be made in visualbasic)
phatbits (hasnt been released yet, but seems the most complete of all)

Konfabulator for Windows
Konfabulator has finally been ported to Windows. A killer-app if you go by the reviews from OS X users earlier this year. Now I'm off to try it out. (From: Redemption)...

Desktop widgets (or whatever you'd like to call them) are one of those things that are insanely cool the first time you use them and then just become not-quite-so-useful memory/desktop hogs as time goes by.

Still, I can see why the windows crowd is getting excited ;)
