As much as I hope this is true, it looks like this could be a fake:
Half-Life 2 Gold Soon– but then again, who knows? It shouldn’t be too long now, anyway, considering Steam has already started preloading.Jakob

Some smartass user guessed Gabe Newells password, “gaben”, and posted the going gold post.. but still with steam preloading and all that HL2 seems closer than ever. =)
