I wonder if the Mozilla <a href="http://googlebar.mozdev.org/">googlebar</a> team are considering adding a gmail checker - it would be good if there was a publicly available API for these tools. I think its great that Google has created an official tool for this purpose, but it would be great if they could intergrate it into the Google toolbar – it would make perfect sense, really.
