Do a search for FoxyTunes. It's a Firefox plugin that works with the newest Firefox that works with WMP, Winamp 5.x, iTunes, and a billion other audio players.
hmm…just installed it…looks great n all…but it leaves my winamp up….might as well just use winamp =\

awesome otherwise…cant wait for updates or skin-personalized
You must hide winamp for yourselft...
Go to Option>preferences >General Preferences and Uncheck Taskbar and System Tray. Down to File Types and Uncheck System Tray...and Voila

I have what I think is a cool FireFox extension called "Lookahead" - it can be found at my URL given here (I don't know - some places don't want URLs given in the comment I guess)

It will give you Google search results like "I feel lucky" but for up to ten results (configurable).

Try it out - I spent a lot of time on it and I would like some people to try it and tell me if they like it...

Interesting that they uploaded it to UMO. They claimed previously that every extension would need to have their source code checked before uploading, and I honestly disbelieve that they've done it.

Now if only someone would make one that works with iTunes... it wouldn't be that hard either if JS could hook into COM, since iTunes has COM bindings.

If there was such an extension, I could easily convince some of my itunes-using friends to use fx, to get over the missing feature in itunes to always keep the app on top (something winamp *does* have, which imho, makes this a useless extension, even if it is cool, because you can just keep the app on top, above yout titlebar, see what's playing, and have access to the whole app).
