Exhilarating match, Holland vs. Czech Republic. I’m (openly) rooting for the Czechs to win Euro 2004, so it was nice to see the Czechs come back 2 times from behind and winning it with a sweet tap-in. They played very well at that, and Milan Baros scoring was just sweet.
Now, onto the quarter-finals!
You should say thanks to Advocaat. His move with Robben destroyed the dutch game … But, I am big fan of Nedved now ;-)
They should lynch Advocaat! It’s terrible to see him exchange the match-winner (Robben) for some lousy midfield (he’s on the bench with Birmingham City, isn’t he) called Bosvelt and loose the match.
Czech winning the championship? No, definitely not. Their defense sucks just as hard as the Dutch’ does. Spain is going to be my bet… We’ll see tomorrrow.
Yep, Czechs definitely rules! After today’s match, they have a good chance to win the championship.
I agree with you Alef, that the defense is quite a problem, but the offense is just stunning.

Yes, absolutely fantastic match. Shame about the dive giving Holland only ten men but it was great to watch such an open game. I sincerely hope that both teams make it through to the next round and, with quality like that, it’s practically assured.
Much better than the earlier German game.
